COFFEE RESOURCES INC., a US based company, was founded in 1998 by its present owner Felipe Isaza, as a company providing 20 years of experience in coffee to the specialty coffee trade. Today, it is fully dedicated to importing and exporting top quality coffees from diverse origins. The company represents a few fine coffee producers from various origins, including the cooperatives who own Exportadora de Cafe Condor in Colombia.

COFFEE RESOURCES INC. maintains a solid base of customers who understand and strive for quality, and it is guided by the philosophy acquired throughout several years involved with coffee: QUALITY;  QUALITY of coffee, QUALITY of the environment, and most important QUALITY of life of the thousands of coffee producers who depend on coffee. Our customers are distributed throughout the globe.. from small roasters in the U.S. to medium and large size roasters in Europe, Middle east, New Zealand and Asian countries including Japan and China.

In 1982 after graduating from University of Texas in International Business and Finance, Felipe returned to Colombia to work with a large Japanese trading house. He was responsible for buying the green coffee for roasters in Japan. In 1988 he joined Exportadora de Café Condor, a recently established specialty coffee exporter of Colombian coffee. He was appointed General Manager from 1991 to 1995. Today the company is positioned as the leading exporter of fine coffees from Colombia. From 1995 to 1997 he had the opportunity of working with a US based specialty coffee importer where he enhanced his skills in sourcing fine coffee from other origins, and fully understand the quality requirements demanded by specialty coffee roasters. Throughout his career he has traveled extensively throughout Colombia and various other Central and South American origins to understand different production methods, processing and quality control.
